Terms and Conditions

The terms and conditions detailed below constitute the entire agreement and the agreement between the Outsider Adventures Organization (“we” or “our”) and the customer (the “Customer” or “you”) with respect to any and all reservations, trips or transactions made with Outsider Adventures.

1.- Reservations

To reserve a space on any trip, each Client must send:

A complete form of personalized tour / trekking / tour

A deposit of 50% of the cost of the trip per person (check or credit card, 30 days or more in advance).

The balance of the cost of the trip must be paid 1 week before departure.

A full deposit is required when booking the Inca Trail and other special tours (honeymoons, private group tours, anniversaries, etc.)

2.- Payments

Payments can be made in the form of:

Credit card – Visa / MasterCard / American Express through Paypal

Paypal account

Wire transfer

Direct deposit

3.- Individual supplement

All accommodations (hotels, tents, etc.) are based on double occupancy. We will try to find roommates for single travelers who wish to share accommodation. If this is not possible or if you prefer individual accommodations, you will be charged the charge of the single supplement indicated on the itinerary.

4.- Cancellation by the client

If you have to cancel, all reservation deposits will be refunded less the amount of money that may have been used for the purchase of income or others, in order to secure your spaces, and a cancellation fee. Cancellations must be in writing, and prior coordination with us we can reach a flexible and beneficial agreement for both parties.

No partial refunds will be granted for unused hotel rooms, meals, excursions or trekking arrangements for any reason. The Inca Trail tours of two and four days are not refundable, as the Peruvian government is extremely strict in this regard and offers no opportunity for changes or cancellations.

5.- Cancellation by Outsider Adventures

OUTSIDER ADVENTURES reserves the right to cancel any trip due to insufficient registration (which does not meet the minimum of 2 people), which makes the trip economically impossible to operate. If this happens, a full refund of the cost of the trip is granted. However, Outsider Adventures is not responsible for the additional expenses incurred by travelers preparing for the trip (ie air tickets, equipment, medical expenses, etc., of “Advance Purchase” non-refundable).

6.- Prices, Surcharges and Validity.

As we publish our prices in advance, OUTSIDER ADVENTURES may occasionally face significant cost increases due to factors over which we have no control. Consequently, we reserve the right to charge the Customer a surcharge (or a decrease in the price) due to unfavorable exchange rates, increases in air fares or other transportation costs, taxes, or if government action requires that let’s do. Surcharges will be calculated according to the full extra cost, compared to the original costs and exchange rates.

7.- Airlines

OUTSIDER ADVENTURES is not responsible for any act or breach of any airline. We may use airlines other than those mentioned in our advertisements, and OUTSIDER ADVENTURES cannot guarantee the type of aircraft any airline will use. In addition, OUTSIDER ADVENTURES is not responsible for losses due to canceled flights or seats or modified flight itineraries. The Client cannot cancel the contract without penalty due to a change of airline, type of aircraft, route or destination. The responsibility of the airlines is limited to the transport of passengers and luggage in accordance with the terms and conditions of service of the airline.

8.- Delays

Any cost, whether direct or incidental, incurred by the Client as a result of delays caused by bad weather, path conditions, river levels, road conditions, transportation delays, illness, government intervention or other contingencies that are outside of the control of OUTSIDER ADVENTURES, it will not be refunded.

9.- Changes by OUTSIDER

Reasonable changes can be made to the itinerary when OUTSIDER ADVENTURES deems it convenient for the comfort and well-being of Customers. Changes to the itinerary may also be the result of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond the control of OUTSIDER ADVENTURES. If any changes are made before the moment of the reservation, the Client will be informed of the change at the time of the reservation. If the change is made later, the Customer will be informed as soon as possible. OUTSIDER ADVENTURES will not be liable for any damage that arises or is related to such change and the Client waives the right to file a claim for such damages against OUTSIDER ADVENTURES.

10.- Customer Changes

Any change made by the Client between 30 and 20 days before departure will be charged an administrative fee according to the change made by the client. The Client may not make changes within 10 days of departure.
